Volvo 850 SE 2.5 1996

The Volvo 850 SE 2.5 sound fx library features 25 takes of recordings from a classic 1996 Swedish car.

The bundle collects 596 sound fx that total 21.53 gigabytes of audio from a straight 5-cylinder, 10-valve, 2.5 litre manual drive 144 horsepower engine.

The 9 exterior perspectives (20 channels) present the vehicle travelling on straightaways and around corners from multiple distances at fast, medium, and slow speeds performing approaches, departures, and passes.

The onboard takes (11 perspectives from 16 channels, out of which 4 are AMBEO) capture synchronized driving performances from the engine, interior, exhaust, and trunk at steady RPMs, ramps, and gearshifts.

Also included in the library are performed sound effects of doors, horns, etc, and idles, blips, and steadies in neutral.

Both Altiverb and Waves impulse responses are provided of the interior car cabin.

All takes are embedded with 18+ fields of Soundminer, BWAV, and MacOS Finder metadata.
