Stop Sound Effects
Stop sound effects for things coming to a halt. Cars pulling up and switching off, a horse carriage creaking to a standstill, footsteps that stop dead and an old video recorder clunking as the tape ends. Machines winding down until the last gear gives up. It's the full stop at the end of the sentence.

Stops are underrated. A car that pulls up needs a Deceleration before the engine cuts and starts ticking as it cools. Get the order right and the audience knows someone has arrived. In the vehicle libraries, a stop usually sits next to the Start from the same session, recorded Onboard and outside. Footsteps stopping are the quietest version, and often the scariest.
