The American 1942 M10 tank destroyer sound library gathers 303 clips in 20.19 gigabytes of field recordings.
Also known as the Wolverine and the TD, it showcases the sound of two GM 6046 two-stroke inline six Detroit Diesel engines performing a wide variety of manoeuvres.
The collection shares 12 synchronized takes exterior and onboard manoeuvres.
The 10 exterior takes document departing, passing, arriving, and reversing at slow, medium, and fast speeds.
The 14 onboard perspectives share microphone perspectives from the engine, exhaust, interior, and tracks as the tank drives forward and reverse.
The bundle includes custom mixes of the onboard perspectives, Pro Tools and Reaper mixing sessions, 18 fields of Soundminer metadata, plus BWAV metadata and MacOS Finder comments, and metadata import files for 7 languages.
