Armor Sound Effects

Armor sound effects that make a character sound like they weigh a ton. Plate and mail, moving the way they should, with a clank and rattle on every step and a proper crash when they go down. Leather straps creak. There are full medieval and fantasy sets here, and some modern body armor as well.

Armor gets recorded the way it's used, worn and hit. That means movement for walking and running, equipping sequences for putting it on, impacts from a Sword or an arrow, and bodyfalls for when it all goes wrong. Plenty of clanking. For armor walking, designers usually lay the metal movement, plate or Chainmail, over separate footsteps so each can be balanced on its own. Several of the bigger fantasy and medieval bundles here include armor alongside weapons and castle ambiences, which saves a lot of hunting when you're building a whole RPG.
