Dagger Sound Effects

Dagger sound effects for close and nasty work. Fast swishes through the air, then short stabs and slashes that land with a wet crunch. Lighter and quicker than a sword. The rest of the fight is here as well, from armour to battle cries, so the rogue in the shadows has company.

A dagger is all about speed. The Swing is shorter and brighter than a Sword cutting the air, and the hit tends to be a stab rather than a clang, so the best dagger sounds are tight and close. The melee libraries cover swings for small blades right up to heavy hammers, with impacts on flesh and armour, plus gore for when it goes deep. Medieval and fantasy game sets add the world around the fight, from armour movement to combat voices. Stealth games use them a lot. So do assassin scenes in film.
