Gore Sound Effects

Gore sound effects, the wet and crunchy end of the shelf. Flesh tearing and bones snapping, with blades going in and out. Blood splatter. Most of it lives inside horror and combat libraries, so the gore comes with the swings and hits that cause it. Good for horror games and grim fantasy. Not ideal before lunch.

Gore is almost never recorded from real injuries. Foley artists reach for cabbages, celery, wet chamois and raw meat, then twist and snap them close to the mic. That's what most Bone Break and Flesh sounds are underneath. The libraries here bring that material along with the weapon side: hammers and axes hitting home, and the Stab and pull that follow. Small details sell it. A tiny drip or squelch after the hit does more than a louder crack. Horror films and survival games use these most.
