The British 2018 McLaren 600LT package showcases 409 clips in 40.63 gigabytes of audio. It features the sound of a 3.8-litre twin-turbocharged V8, 8 cylinder, 492HP engine-powered vehicle wth lightweight titanium exhaust driving while performing an extensive variety of maneuvers.
15 synchronized takes collect a total of 24 onboard and exterior perspectives. The 15 onboard perspectives include recordings from the engine, exhaust, and interior with gearshifts, steady RPMs, and ramps. The 9 exterior perspectives include slow, medium, and fast driving while the sports car passes by, reverses, departs, and arrives. There are also shut downs, revving, idles, start ups, takes with launch control, circling and much more. The package also provides bonus four-channel Ambisonic AMBEO recordings of the interior cabin, and performed effects of gear paddles, doors, horns, buttons and other sounds.
The package includes 5 customized mixdowns of onboard and exterior microphones, Reaper and Pro Tools mixing sessions, metadata keyword import files in 7 languages, and 18+ fields of Soundminer metadata, BWAV, and iXML metadata and MacOS Finder comments.
