Seatbelt sound effects from cars and planes. The click as it buckles, and the quick zip as it retracts. They're recorded in everything from classic muscle cars to modern supercars, plus the cabin of a passenger jet before takeoff. A small sound that says the journey is about to start.

A seatbelt click is tiny, but leave it out and a car scene feels oddly empty. Every car's buckle sounds a little different, so the vehicle libraries record it alongside the rest of the cabin foley, like the Steering Wheel and Window controls from the same car. Aircraft belts sound different again, a flat metal clack rather than a click. Many modern cars add a warning chime if you forget. Sitcom drivers always do.
