Iconic military truck recorded from all sides and at various distances. There are slow, medium and fast drive-bys, departures and arrivals. The interior was recorded quadraphonically. The exhaust system was taped, as was the engine from under the hood.
Microphones used were the Neumann U87, Sennheiser MKH 70, Sennheiser MKH 416, Violet Design’s ‘Amethyst’, and the Schoeps CMC MK4. Also recorded were the doors, gas pedal, wipers, gearbox and ventilation system of this general-purpose off-road beast.
