The Ferrari F40 LM (Le Mans) sound effects collection features 335 clips in 21.65 gigabytes of audio.
The sound library showcases the sound of a 1991 version of the Italian luxury sports car’s V8 3 litres, double water-cooled F1 turbo engine with 720 hp and a 5-gear transmission.
A total of 20 synchronized takes depict both onboard and exterior perspectives.
The 9 exterior perspectives arrange microphones at multiple locations and distances to record departing, arriving, passing at slow to fast speeds, as well as starting and stopping, and backfire.
The 12 interior perspectives arrange microphones at the exhaust, engine, and in the interior to share recordings of driving at steady RPMs, with gearshifts, and ramps.
Three mixes of the interior perspectives are also available.
The package includes Soundminer, BWAV, and MacOS Finder metadata in every clip, as well as Reaper and Pro Tools mixing sessions.
