The Japanese Yamaha MT-07 motorcycle sound library features 221 sounds from 14.96 gigabytes of field recordings.
The collection documents the sound of 2015 version of its 655 cc 2 cylinder gas engine modified with a performance exhaust.
A mix of onboard and exterior perspectives depict driving in 13 synchronized takes.
The onboard perspectives mount microphones to share driving at steady RPMs, with gearshifts, and ramps from the engine, exhaust, under the seat, and attached to the frame.
The exterior microphones were spread around a track at four positions and two distances and present driving at slow, medium, and fast speeds as the car arrives, departs, passes, with other performances such as shut downs, start ups, idles, revving, and many more.
The bundle includes metadata keyword import files in 7 languages, 3 ready-to-use designed stereo mixes of the interior, exhaust, and engine microphones, 18 fields of Soundminer metadata, plus BWAV metadata and MacOS Finder comments, and Pro Tools and Reaper mixing sessions.
