Sounds of Nature: FORESTS of Europe features nature sounds and ambiances, captured in different forests of Central Europe at different times of day and at night.
It includes recordings in deciduous forests, pine tree forests and mixed forests. These forests are among the oldest, quietest and most beautiful pristine forests in Europe. You can hear many different birds, including cuckoos, owls, and woodpeckers. All nature recordings are clear and completely free from external noise and other human disruptions. This is why this library will be especially useful for productions taking place in the past, like medieval and ancient times. As well as historical and nature documentaries.
All of these nature ambiances are recorded using three different microphone set-ups. A Stereo set-up, a wide stereo set-up, and a spaced omnis set-up, which also offers extended frequency response. This brings you 3 variations of each recording. Within these variations, the differences are sometimes subtle and sometimes more extreme. These three perspectives can provide flexibility for cross-cutting within scenes.
