Nature Sound Effects

Nature sound effects recorded out in it. Spring birdsong at dawn in remote woodland, and crickets and cicadas taking over once the sun goes down. Rain pattering on the garden. Stags roaring through the rut at night, and waves rolling onto a beach with gulls overhead.

Good nature recordings are harder to get than they look. Planes, roads and distant chainsaws get into almost everything, so a clean dawn in a Forest often means travelling a long way and getting up very early. The payoff is space. Real nature ambience has depth, with near birds and far ones and a breeze moving through the leaves, and that's what makes a scene feel outdoors. For wetter weather there's Thunderstorm, and the busier, wilder end lives in Wildlife. Loops make it easy to hold a mood under a long scene or a game level.
