Europe Sound Effects

Europe sound effects from deep forest to the busy station. Woodland by day and after dark, with owls and woodpeckers, and quiet meadows full of birds and crickets, recorded with no people about. Then the people. Cafés and stations full of chatter in several languages, and a masked festival with drumming and bells. Sirens too, the European kind.

The busy places come with real dialogue in several languages, edited but not processed, which suits the background of a café or a Train Station scene. The sirens are the European sort, which differ from American ones, and the police, fire and ambulance recordings drive past and pull away at different distances. Out of town, the forests and meadows were recorded with no human noise in them, so an Owl at night or crickets in a meadow come without traffic underneath. The festival is something else again, masked dancers with drumming and bells, for a scene with old rituals in it.
