Speech Sound Effects

Speech sound effects, though not always in a language anyone speaks. Alien phrases performed high and low, then processed into something otherworldly. Bit-speak for game characters who talk in text boxes. Robot and computer voices too, plus crowds and walla where the words blur into the room. Plenty of squeaks.

Plenty of game speech isn't real words. Characters talking in text boxes need short voiced blips timed to the letters, and the text and Dialogue sets here come with several voices at different speeds and pitches. Synthesised bit-speak does the same job with distinct character voices. The alien libraries start from real phrases, translated into other languages and then processed, so the result has the shape of speech in no language at all. For machines there's a run of Robot Voice characters and futuristic computer voice overs. Crowds and walla cover speech in the background, protest march included, with monster growls and squeaky creature chatter at the silly end.
