Dialogue Sound Effects

Dialogue sound effects for characters who talk without actual words, and some who do. The game kind is the blip or babble that plays as text scrolls across a box, in all sorts of voices, pitches and speeds. Then there are spoken lines and reactions: kids laughing, party members taunting, cartoon voices chattering, sci-fi radio calls. Lots of character. Very little of it needs a script.

Text dialogue sounds are a small craft of their own. A blip per letter, or per word, pitched to the speaker, so a gruff NPC and a chirpy sidekick sound different before anyone reads a line. The libraries here cover that bit-speak style in plenty of voices, some with a ready-made template for game audio middleware, plus UI sets for opening and closing the dialogue box. Then the voiced side: RPG party barks, kid reactions, cartoon chatter, sci-fi transmissions and the odd Laugh. RPGs, visual novels and animation all use this.
