Crying Sound Effects

Crying sound effects from newborn babies to grown actors in pieces. Babies and kids wailing, men and women sobbing and weeping, anime characters bursting into tears, and horror voices crying in the dark. Some of it isn't even human. A baby tiger and a crowd of squeaky little creatures have their sad moments too.

Crying is hard to fake well, which is why performed cries from good voice actors save so much time. A held back sob reads as grief and a full wail as panic, and in games the same character often needs both, plus every Pain noise in between. The character voice sets put cries next to shouts, laughs, grunts and efforts from the same performer, so a hero or a villain can break down and still sound like themselves. When the scene turns, the other side of the face sits in Laugh. The baby recordings run from newborn ambiences to older kids, and the cartoon and anime cries give animation the big, over the top version.
