Dismemberment Sound Effects

Dismemberment sound effects for when a limb has to come off and the audience has to feel it. Bone snaps and crunches, and flesh cut and sliced until the blood spurts and drips. Chainsaw gore too. Grim. It all suits horror and the nastier end of combat, where a clean cut won't do.

A good dismemberment is built in layers. Start with the blade or the saw, put a bone crunch under it, then the rip as the limb comes away, and finish with a wet splat and a drip. The libraries give you each layer on its own, at different intensities, plus weapon removal for pulling the blade back out. Wetter stuff waits in Splatter, and the snap on its own in Bone. Royalty-free. Not for the squeamish.
