Strike Sound Effects

Strike sound effects in every sense of the word. A fist landing in a fight, a blade striking a shield, a hammer coming down on stone, lightning close enough to make you flinch. Even a metal bowl struck and left to ring. All of it is about the moment of contact, and how much weight sits behind it.

A strike is all transient, the sharp front edge of a sound, and that's what makes a Hit read on screen. The fight libraries here give you punches and body hits in quantity, with blade and shield clashes for armed combat. The stone and steel recordings from a quarry are heavier, a proper Metal Impact with ring to it. Thunder is the biggest strike of all. Use it sparingly and it will carry a whole storm.
