Storm sound effects for when the weather turns on you. Thunder cracking overhead and rolling off into the distance, rain hammering down, hail, and wind gusts that build to hurricane strength. A lot of it is real field recording. Some of it is heard from indoors, through the windows, which is often how a storm actually sounds in a film.

Storms usually get built rather than recorded whole. Most editors work from parts, usually a rain bed with Thunder placed by hand where the picture needs it. So a lot of these libraries keep the elements apart, with isolated thunder close and distant, and thunder with or without rain under it. Interior perspectives matter too. A storm through glass is duller and closer, and it's what a character hears lying awake at night. For the hard edge there's Hail, and Lightning for the crack of the strike itself. Designed and synthesised storms sit alongside the real ones, handy for game loops that have to run as long as the level does. It's all royalty-free for commercial work, dark and stormy nights included.
