I make and sell nature videos professionally - and have had shorts featured by National Geographic, Outside Magazine, and Vimeo Staff Picks. My passion is long-form ambient video content, and a core component of this is capturing authentic on-location natural audio. My typical workflow is to leave a my Sony recorder out in the wilderness for up to 30 hours at a time, and then strip out the interesting parts completely free of cars, planes, and other human sounds. I have a library of about 550 Oregon nature sounds and longer soundscapes - plus some ocean and lava content.
