Description

The storm of St Jude caused winds of upwards 100mph around the UK.

This library contains raw recordings during the early hours of the morning at the peak of the storm in and around a town centre, an open ended shopping arcade, beach promenade and more.

The recordings feature intense wind buffeting, resonant winds (as they travelled through spaces) and an intense recording of the interior of a car parked in the heart of the storm.

It makes for great storm sweeteners, storm backgrounds and can be manipulated to make some interesting drones.
