Renovation Sound Effects

Renovation sound effects, heard mostly through the wall. Drilling, hammering, builders chatting, all coming from the flat next door while you're trying to get on with your day. There's the other side too, close up on the work itself, with rubble falling, a jackhammer biting concrete and wood being sanded down.

The next door recordings were made in a flat beside a real renovation, so the Drill and the hammering come through the walls and floor the way they really do: muffled and heavy, with only the sharpest knocks getting through. That's hard to fake with an EQ. Film and TV use it for noisy neighbours, games for an Apartment that feels lived in. Some takes have the builders' Conversation in them, muffled enough to stay clear of dialogue. Up close it's a different job: a jackhammer going straight into concrete, and rubble coming down.
