Power Sound Effects

Power sound effects, in every sense of the word. The game kind first: power ups, including retro arcade ones. Then electrical power, with hum and static captured from real electronics, ready for a lab or a control room switching on. Magic gets its share, with spell casts and blasts that land hard. Sci-fi combat brings futuristic weapons and robots.

Power is mostly about the moment something switches state. A power up in a game needs a short, bright reward sound, and the retro set has lots of those, plus the UI sounds around them. A machine powering on needs build and weight, which is where Activation sounds and electrical hum come in. The recordings of real current and static give that a believable edge, and they layer well under designed sci-fi tech. For magic, the spell impacts and casts give a character, or a Villain, real force when they let rip. Futuristic melee weapons and robots round out the combat side, with loops for anything that needs to hum along while it's running.
