Fuel Pump Sound Effects

Fuel Pump sound effects from real vehicles, mostly motorcycles. On a modern bike it's the short electric buzz when the ignition goes on and the pump primes, just before the engine fires. Tiny. Miss it and the start feels wrong. It sits in the mechanical and electrical foley of all sorts of motorcycles and quad bikes, with some aircraft and boats in the mix.

The fuel pump is one of those sounds that lives in a sequence rather than on its own. A rider flips the Side Stand up, turns the key, the pump hums for a moment, the Headlight comes on, and then the starter kicks in. The foley here covers much of that chain, alongside driving runs through the gears, steady revs and pass-bys. The bikes range from big touring machines and adventure bikes to sport bikes and cruisers, so the pump can match the engine that follows it. The quad bikes and planes add the same sort of detail away from the road.
