Footrest Sound Effects

Footrest sound effects come as part of bigger motorcycle and scooter collections, where the foley around the bike gets recorded alongside the engine. Sport bikes, adventure tourers, cruisers and mopeds, plus a tilting quadricycle and an electric scooter. Fiddly bits. Most libraries pair driving recordings with foley and mechanical sounds from the same machine.

A footrest is the folding peg a rider or passenger rests their feet on, and on most bikes the passenger pair folds up out of the way when nobody's riding pillion. Tiny sound. In these libraries the foley is recorded on the same Motorcycle as the engine, so the handling and the mechanical and electrical sounds all belong to the bike heard riding past. More of that handling lives under Side Stand. The driving recordings take engine and exhaust perspectives, with RPM holds and pass-bys on some of the bikes. Every library is royalty-free for commercial work, from road movies to riding games.
