Flap Sound Effects

Flap sound effects for wings and cloth, anything that catches the air. Creature wings giving single flaps or a run of them, and clothes flapped and folded in the studio. Lots of air. Paper turns up as well, and so do the bigger flying monsters, dragons included.

The creature wings were made in foley sessions, which is how a lot of big wings get made, and they come as full mixes of fly-bys and impacts as well as single and multiple flaps and raw source. Easy to scale. For clothing, the studio recordings cover garments being flapped, folded and handled, and they pair nicely with a Zipper or some Canvas for tents and sails. Giant insects and sky beasts sit in the monster sets for when the wings belong to something big. These suit fantasy games and creature films, and a flag on a pole in a period drama just as well.
