Useful Sound Effects
Graduated as a sound designer in the 90's I love to emphasize the psychological side of sounds. This is important for using sound to image as both need to be in harmony. I created Useful Sound Effects to help people finding sounds that go well with current productions, as well as games. Recording in rare places can be a great thing, but if the recording sounds like just another location, than it was not worth it. I tend to strive for linking the expected to what I offer. My sounds offer enough dynamic range and resolution for user manipulation so they are not over-compressed. Hopefully all names will be useful as a guideline, and all files are UCS compliant.
