Crush Sound Effects

Crush sound effects for things squashed flat. Cardboard creaks as it gives way, and wood splinters under a slow, heavy weight until something finally lets go with a crack. Then horror. Bodies crushed with the bones going too, which is exactly as unpleasant as it sounds. Herbs in a mortar are the gentle kind.

A crush is a crunch stretched out. Pressure builds until something gives, and the length of that build is what makes an audience wince. The gore libraries here record bodies being crushed, with Bone cracks and wet Gut movement for horror finishers. Wood and material recordings give the everyday kind, planks bending and boxes caving in. When the crush turns into a collapse, the pieces carry on as Debris. Cartoons play it for laughs, with a character flattened by a falling safe. Horror games want the other kind.
