Cement Sound Effects

Cement sound effects from the factory floor and from the ground underfoot. A giant cement works crushing rock, with long looping ambiences and tonal machine drones from all over the plant. Then cement as a surface, with hooves and clawed paws walking across it, and even crustaceans and arachnids. Rock and brick impacts round it off.

The factory recordings loop, so a dark industrial bed can run under a scene for as long as it needs, and they were taken at different machines around the plant for some variety. That suits a villain's hideout or a long night shift. On the foley side, the Animal Footstep libraries walk hooves and clawed paws, reptiles and rodents, birds and crustaceans across cement and other surfaces, made with wildlife documentaries in mind. Gravel sits close by for the next surface along. The rock and brick recordings add impacts and debris from several perspectives, which helps when a wall comes down or a slab gets broken up.
