Bite Sound Effects

Bite sound effects with teeth in them. Monster jaws snapping shut, zombies tearing into flesh, and real tiger growls for the moment before it all goes wrong. Wet and crunchy. A lot of the gore was made the honest way, with fruit, food and plenty of mess, so the crunch is real even if the victim isn't.

A good bite has a crunch going in and a wet tear on the way out. If the biter is a Monster, start with its growl and cut the bite into the end of it. The gore libraries give you the crunch and the tear, recorded close and wet, and the creature libraries add the voice behind it, from a Goblin snapping at your ankles to something much bigger. A bit of breath or a Grunt on top sells the effort. Bites turn up in zombie games and horror films, and in anime fights where every chomp gets exaggerated.
