The Resonating Metal packs were recorded using metal sheets of all forms and sizes and a LOT of dry ice.
We recorded the samples in both high quality mono as well as stereo. We felt this made the sounds highly usable on a wider scale.
Because we recorded with a very high sample rate the files are great for transforming (i.e. pitching and stretching).
The possibilities are truly endless. Stretch a file beyond recognition for a deep, rumbling ambient drone or throw some nice distortion or saturator on to make it scream in terror!
This collection contains both the Resonating Metal library, and the resonating drone library.
