This the second volume of my freight train recordings. Each track is a binaural recording. I used a Neumann KU 100 Binaural Dummy Head fed into a Sound Devices 744T.
Most of the tracks were close up recordings with an exception of 2-3 tracks. The Neumann KU 100 was as close as 2.5 feet from the freight train in one track to get a massive, life like feel.
I decided to use the Neumann KU 100 over my other binaural setups is that Neumann made sure the recordings will sound great on headphones AND loudspeakers/studio monitor speakers
