These recordings were all made in the natural environment of The Netherlands. Being a sound mixer myself I more than often stumbled upon libraries with sounds that are not heard in this country. Making my life as a soundmixer very complicated when mixing nature documentaries.
This library focuses on ambiences and weather. What makes this library unique is that most of these recordings have an extended playtime with an average duration of over 11 minutes. This makes it possible to use several variations of the same track in your mix for subtle ambience shifts. Slow evolving wind gusts or a shower that turns into a rainstorm.
The sound levels in these recordings are matched with each other to preserve the natural dynamics of the ambiences.
I used these recordings in several natural history documentaries I mixed and they were broadcasted and distributed to numerous TV channels.
