Branch sound effects for wood that's still on the tree, and wood that isn't. Branches moved, pushed through, breaking and cracking, with whole trees creaking and falling at the far end of the scale. Leaves come with them. It's what a chase through the woods needs, or a creature crashing out of the undergrowth, and the wind in the trees covers the quieter moments.

Branch sounds come both from outside and from the studio. Outside, wind moves through different kinds of tree, from a light breeze to strong gusts, which gives a forest scene its bed. In the studio, plants get dragged and shaken until the Foliage rustles, so a character pushing through a hedge can be cut to the picture. The breaks matter most. A Twig snapping underfoot suits a stealth scene, and a cracking trunk or a falling tree suits a storm, a logging job or something very large walking through the woods.
