Text Sound Effects

Text sound effects for words that arrive one letter at a time. The dialogue voices come at different speeds and pitches, so every character on screen gets their own. Phones too, with messages sent and received and typing from a single letter to a long passage. Then RPG menus and futuristic interfaces that beep and confirm.

On screen, text needs a sound or it just sits there. Typing comes in short and long runs, handy for a chat window filling up, and the interface libraries add Confirm and deny sounds for hacker screens and sci-fi terminals. The dialogue sets work like the scrolling talk in RPGs: pick a voice per character, match the speed to the letters appearing, and shift the pitch for mood. For phones, the alerts come dry and also played through a phone speaker, which saves faking it later.
