Scanning Sound Effects

Scanning sound effects for anything that reads, sweeps or analyses. Sci-fi scanning sequences, HUD sweeps, data streaming across a screen, a robot checking you over. Retro computers beeping and calculating. Sonar pings. There's real equipment too: eye scanners from an optician's room and radio interference from comms gear. Lots of beeps. The good ones tell a story.

A good scan sound has a shape: a sweep that moves, a little texture while it works, then a result, either a happy confirm or an angry deny. The Hud and interface libraries here are built that way, with scans next to alerts, typing, Telemetry and Hologram glitches, so a whole control room can come from the same family. The robot sets add servos and transformations around their scans. The real-world side, optometry machines and signal gear, works when a scene wants something less designed. Sci-fi games, spy films and medical scenes all use these.
