Hud Sound Effects

Hud sound effects for the screens that sit between a player and the world. Beeps, mostly. Data bursts and scan sweeps on a pilot's visor. Holograms flickering into life, and warning beeps when the shields drop. There are friendlier menus too, from fantasy RPG to retro pixel styles, but most of it leans sci-fi. A good HUD should feel alive without ever getting in the way of the game.

HUD sounds do a lot of quiet work. They confirm what the player just did and warn about what's coming, usually without anyone noticing them at all. The bigger libraries come in families, so a Scanning sweep and an alert sound like the same piece of kit. Hologram sets add the glitchy shimmer for projected displays, and the room tones give a ship's bridge a steady hum under everything. Short works best. They should also sit a little quieter than the action.
