Stick Sound Effects

Stick sound effects, whooshing and clacking. Sticks swung fast through the air and wooden practice swords knocking together in a sparring match. Hockey sticks slapping and scraping across ice. Twigs and branches snapping underfoot in a forest, and wooden debris splintering. Dry and woody, mostly. Handy for martial arts or anywhere someone picks up a stick.

A stick is a surprisingly useful prop. Whipped through the air, it gives a thin, fast whoosh that works for sword swings and projectiles, which is why plenty of whooshes start life as a stick. Struck, it gives a dry clack, from wooden training swords meeting in a duel to a hockey stick slapping the ice. Snapped, it becomes a Branch breaking underfoot, or splintering debris when something wooden gets smashed. Toy recordings add bouncing balls and knocks. Martial arts scenes, sports games and nature foley all use them, and the whooshes sit nicely next to a Whip crack.
