Sorcery Sound Effects

Sorcery sound effects for the whole spell, from the power gathering to the hit. Fireballs charge and burst. Dark curses and healing light come next, along with enchanted books creaking open and potions bubbling away in a cauldron, and a lot of it comes in parts, charges, casts, impacts and loops, so a spell can be stretched out or cut short.

Sorcery tends to sound darker and heavier than everyday magic, more rumble and whisper than sparkle. The sets here split the light side from the dark, and the nastier end carries on in Black Magic. An absorb or drain effect, where the caster pulls power in, is often a cast played backwards or a charge with a sucking tail, and layered recordings make that easy. For more casting there's Spell. Fantasy RPGs and dark fairy tales use them most.
