Sneaker Sound Effects

Sneaker sound effects for soft soles and quick feet. Sneakers walking, running and jumping on hardwood, crunching through real snow, and moving across city and natural ground at all sorts of speeds. Lighter than a boot. Around them sit scuffs, landings, gravel steps, drunken staggers and footsteps on plastic sheet, so the step can go wherever the character does.

A sneaker step is softer than a shoe, all rubber and very little heel, so the surface does most of the talking. That's why the same pair across lots of floors is so useful. Some sets were performed live by foley artists, others walked outdoors, and some break it down for games: single steps, sequences and designed stereo walks, even a group walk. For heavier feet there's Boot, and the drag of a lazy foot is over in Scuff. Royalty-free for film and games.
