Shoreline Sound Effects

Shoreline sound effects for wherever the water meets the land. Waves roll onto sand and crash against rock and cliffs, from gentle laps to rough, heavy seas. Some shores are tropical holiday beaches. Others are empty and wild. There are lakesides too, plus coastal caves and piers, with seagulls where you'd expect them.

The surface makes the shoreline. Sand gives a soft hiss as the wave draws back, pebbles rattle and roll, and rock throws up a hard slap and spray. Pick the Beach first and the scene follows. Many of these are recorded at different distances, so a Wave can sit close under a walk along the water's edge or far off behind a cliff-top conversation. The calm lakeside takes and small Splash details help a quiet morning or a boat drifting in, while the rough seas suit a shipwreck or a lighthouse at night. Some sets loop cleanly for long scenes, and a few were recorded with VR in mind.
