Rub Sound Effects

Rub sound effects, the quiet friction under nearly every bit of movement. Cloth against cloth. T-shirts rubbed slow and fast, Velcro squeezed and rubbed, saddle and harness leather handled, paper and cardboard pushed about. Small, detailed foley, the sort that fills out a character moving in frame.

Most rubs end up in the cloth track, and the Fabric sets give plenty of garments to pull from. Then the surfaces. The Material libraries hold wood, metal, tape and cardboard textures for anything dragged, wiped or pressed against something else, with sets that put wood and metal under real strain and a creaky wooden chair besides. Rub a mug or a glass and you get tonal squeaks, which make good raw material for creature voices.
