Enemy Sound Effects

Enemy sound effects, mostly in the form of voices. Soldiers calling out contacts and orders over the radio, an announcer warning that the other team is on the move, a goblin screeching battle cries, a ghost muttering threats down a corridor. Barks, really. The short lines an enemy shouts so the player knows where it is and what it's about to do.

Enemy barks do a lot of quiet work in a game. They warn the player, set up the fight and give an NPC some personality before a shot is fired. The military voices come dry and as processed radio versions, so the same line can be shouted across a room or crackle over a headset. The fantasy side covers the goblin, ghost and wizard you'd meet in a dungeon, with proper Dialogue as well as screams and efforts. Shooters and RPGs both need plenty of variations, because the player hears these lines over and over.
