Cardboard Sound Effects

Cardboard sound effects cover the box handling that foley always seems to need. Boxes big and small get shoved about and torn, with tape ripped off and the odd creak. Board game pieces turn up as well, in wood and plastic as much as card. Very ordinary. Very handy. It suits house moves and any scene where somebody is unpacking a delivery.

Cardboard tends to come bundled with paper. A set here records books and maps next to boxes of different sizes, so page turns and box handling can match, and there's more ripping over in Tear. Crumpling gets its own share. The material libraries add cardboard creaks and tape rips, handy for game physics when a box gets knocked over, and lighter sheets live in Paper. Board game sets bring cardboard pieces alongside dice and tokens, which suits tabletop scenes and digital board games alike.
