Canada Sound Effects

Canada sound effects from coast to coast. Out in the wild there's boreal forest and glaciers, and winter woods with icy rain, wolves, ravens and creaking trees. On the coast, a lighthouse motor is recorded floor by floor up its tower. The cities bring streetcars, subway trains and commuter rail, plus busy crowds. Summer and autumn wildlife fill in the rest.

Most of Canada is wild country, and the recordings lean that way, with boreal forest and winter woods where wolves and the odd Raven call through the trees. Plenty of winter. The lighthouse is an odd one in the best way, its motor recorded on every floor from the bottom of the tower to the top, which gives a scene a ready made climb. City transit covers streetcars and a diesel commuter train, onboard and from the platform, and crowd recordings add rush hour around them.
