John
John Leonard is a theatre and exhibition sound designer and has been recording sound effects for almost forty years, starting with reel-to-reel machines and upgrading over the years to state-of-the-art digital equipment. He's been recording in surround for over fourteen years, using Soundfield microphones, Metric Halo interfaces and Sound Devices recorders.
