Waterfall Sound Effects

Waterfall sound effects, from a little cascade in a mountain stream to a full roaring drop. Recorded close enough to feel the spray and far enough back to hear it fill a valley. Some come as long loops, ready to run under a whole scene. White noise, basically, but the good kind.

Add Water Streams to cart

A waterfall is easy to use and hard to record well, because the roar swamps everything nearby. Distance is the key. Up close it's a wall of noise. From further away you start to hear the shape of the water and the birds around it. The mountain recordings here cover both, alongside rapids and seasonal streams, and there are synthesized versions for stylised games. A waterfall rarely stands alone, so River and Stream recordings help build out the rest of the landscape. Nature documentaries and adventure games use them all the time.
