Water Drip Sound Effects

Water Drip sound effects from a lone drop to a whole cave of them. Drops and bubbles, then drips falling in caves and old mines, where every drop echoes round the rock. Icicles too. Dripping onto snow out in the cold, with frozen streams and mountain brooks nearby.

Drips do their best work in quiet scenes. In a Cave they set the size of the space, because the echo after each drop carries the room. The cave and mine recordings come as full ambiences, with drips over Underground rivers, trickles and the odd waterfall, and some of the mine material was recorded close up as well as from a distance. Bat colonies turn up in the caves too, which is handy or not, depending on the scene. For a drip you can place exactly, cut in the single drops and dribbles, which sit nicely over a room tone or a leaky pipe.
