THUMP Sound Effects

THUMP sound effects for the low, heavy hits you feel in your chest. Punches landing in a brawl. Bullets thudding into a body. Snow hitting the ground, water slapping against a boat hull, and the designed kind too: deep drops and cinematic impacts made to shake a trailer. No sparkle, all weight.

A thump is mostly low end with very little top, which is why it reads as heavy rather than sharp. Its close cousin is the Thud. In a fight scene the punch libraries pair body hits with cloth movement and whooshes, so each blow lands with its swing. The bullet impact sets give you hits into flesh alongside dirt, wood and metal. Interface sets have a firm thump for a button that should feel solid, and the snow impacts land soft and packed. Under a cut, a deep drop does the same job on a bigger scale.
